Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

DriveChina is an independent information site about Chinese electric vehicles in Canada. By using the site, you agree to the following.

This is information, not advice

Everything we publish (model profiles, comparisons, guides, the incentive calculator) is for information only. We do our best to be accurate, but we don't guarantee that everything is correct or up to date. Always confirm the details that matter (price, range, incentives, availability) with the automaker, the dealer, or the government before you buy.

Prices and specs change

The Chinese-EV market in Canada moves fast. Prices, specs, launch dates, and incentives can change without notice. When we're not sure, we say so, but treat the numbers here as estimates, not promises.

We're not affiliated with the automakers

DriveChina is not associated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any automaker. All trademarks, logos, and promotional images are the property of their respective owners; we use them for editorial and informational purposes.

How we make money

The site is free to use. To keep it running, we may receive compensation from commercial partners, for example when we connect a reader with a dealer, automaker, or other automotive partner at their request, or through referral links. This doesn't change our editorial opinions: our takes are our own.

Forms and communications

By submitting one of our forms (interest, alerts, newsletter), you consent to us contacting you about Chinese EVs in Canada and, where you've asked to be contacted about a vehicle, to your information being passed to relevant automotive partners who may contact you directly. The details are in our privacy policy. You can unsubscribe anytime.

Our content

The articles, comparisons, guides, data, and tools published on this site belong to us. You're welcome to read them and share them with a link; you may not reproduce, republish, or systematically extract them (scraping, data resale) without our written permission.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, DriveChina is not liable for losses or damages arising from your use of the site or from decisions made based on its content, including a vehicle purchase decision. Your dealings with any dealer, automaker, or other partner are between you and them.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published here, with the date at the top of the page. By continuing to use the site, you accept the version in effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it.
